I recently came across the saying “never save anything for a special occasion, being alive is the special occasion,” most likely on Pinterest. It’s stayed with me and I’m doing my best to use the fancy perfume, wear the cute, maybe a-little-over-the-top dress, order from the dessert menu instead of dinner. Of course life is short, but it’s not just about that. It’s also about living life, experiencing it, and being in the moment.
